About Shayr Guthrie

Experience in bringing stories to life

Having voiced thousands of VO projects, over 75 audiobook titles and with more than 25 years of experience - you can feel confident knowing you are in good hands. I'm an Atlanta based SAG-AFTRA voice talent, who truly loves to collaborate and bring stories to life.

I record everything from Arcade 160 Studios in Atlanta, GA - which I own with my audio engineer/narrator husband, Jimmy Guthrie. We have a fully isolated sound booth that is equipped with a Sennheiser MKH416 microphone, Behringer interface, and GarageBand as my DAW.

When I'm not in the booth, you can find me photographing headshots, events and weddings. You might also find me going a "little overboard" in decorating for the holidays. Ha!

I go to yoga, walk our pup, travel, see bands (Jimmy is a musician), host dinner parties, garden and attend UGA football games. Go DAWGS!

FUN FACT: We love GAMES! Recently my son and I were on the game show PICTIONARY and won!
