My favorite books to narrate are Small Town Romance, Suspense/Thrillers, Women's Fiction, Cozy Mysteries, YA, Self Help, and Children's stories.

I record everything from Arcade 160 Studios in Atlanta, GA - which I own with my audio engineer husband, Jimmy. We have a fully isolated sound booth that is equipped with a Sennheiser MKH416 microphone, Behringer interface, and Garage Band as my DAW.

When I'm not in the booth, you can find me photographing weddings and headshots for folks because I'm also a photographer. Two of my loves are gluten-free foods and books, so I created a webisode show called Novel Recipes: Recipes inspired by books! I go to yoga, walk our pup, travel, see bands (my husband is a musician), host dinner parties, garden and attend UGA Football games. Go DAWGS!

FUN FACT: We love GAMES! Recently my son and I were on the game show PICTIONARY and won! Next up, my daughter AND my husband both got on the game show SCRABBLE! As we say... BIG BUCKS - NO WHAMMIES!!

Early Life

I started life in Kentucky, but at age 7, my parents divorced, and my mother moved us to Atlanta. She remarried a fella that took us all around the country - from Nashville to New Orleans, from California to New Jersey, and back to Atlanta again. This means I was in a different school almost every year of my life. I know what it's like to be "the new kid", so I always try to make people feel welcome and included. I've been around a lot of different folks, and have gathered a wealth of characters to draw from when narrating. :)
